Lotto · every number · star deck
In Lotto under the 6/58 + 1/56 · since Sep 2025 rules — 109 draws, 1 from 1–56.
Drawn 1 times in 109 draws against 1.9 expected, −0.68σ. Each draw is independent: after 98 draws away it is exactly as likely tonight as a number drawn yesterday.
Drawn 1 times in 109 draws · waiting 98 draws now
a completed wait — darker is longer the wait still running — a lower bound, not a finished gap
Too few completed waits to plot a distribution for this number alone.
Sort a draw and 44 has a favourite seat — chance gives a large number the high positions more often. That is the shape of sorting, not of the machine.
No shared draws yet.
Never drawn alongside 55 of the other 55 numbers; chance expects about 55 such strangers by now. Every pair →
Under the crowd model, 44 is picked about 0.86× as often as an indifferent choice — 34th most popular of 56. That changes nothing about whether it comes up, and everything about how many ways a jackpot on it would be shared.

Nothing here predicts the next draw. A number’s history is a record of a fair machine’s past, and the machine keeps none of it: 44 is drawn with probability 1/56 tonight whatever it did last week.
